The shooting of historical costume drama series ‘Love in Chains’ is finished. It took over a year to shoot its 48 episodes.
The film crew had 254 workdays, including above 50 night shootings. There were more than 230 actors on the set, including 170 main characters.
It took kilometers of materials to make the costumes for the characters. More than 200 dresses were tailored, some of them were created in two or three copies. The heaviest dress weighted above 10 kg, and for the most luxurious one, it took over 12 meters of the material to create.
The release of the series is scheduled on spring 2019 on STB TV channel.
Synopsis. Kateryna is beautiful, clever and by the will of her godmother was raised as a lady of noble blood. But for the whole world, she is only someone else’s property, a bondmaid of the richest landowner in Nizhyn — Chervinskyi. Struggling for her freedom and the right to be happy, she will have to endure the deaths of her closest people, become the property of a woman who hates and dreams to kill her, survive the popular uprising, escape while being chased by a maniac and flee from the one who wants to get her above all. What awaits Kateryna at the end of such a terrible and exhausting path to freedom?
