The Stolen Princess animated film is shortlisted for the Seoul International Cartoon & Animation Festival (SICAF), which will take place on August 23-26 in South Korea.
The film is nominated in “Best feature animated film” category. ‘The Stolen Princess’ will compete with Taiwanese ‘On Happiness Road’, Iranian ‘The Last Fiction’, South Korean ‘The Shower’, and Belgian ‘The Magnificent Cake’ films. This nomination is the first for ‘The Stolen Princess’.
As we already mentioned, on June 22nd, the movie will be released in Poland, both in Ukrainian and Polish dubbing. Previously, the rights in ‘The Stolen Princess’ animated film have been pre-sold to more than 50 territories, including France, Germany, the Middle East, South Africa, and Asia.
Synopsis. This wonderful story happened in the age of valiant knights, beautiful princesses, and battling sorcerers. Ruslan, a wandering artist dreaming to become a knight, met beautiful Mila and fell in love with her; he didn’t even suspect that she is the King’s daughter. However, the lovers’ happiness wasn’t meant to last too long. Chоrnomor, the evil sorcerer, appeared in a magic vortex and stole Mila right before Ruslan’s eyes to transform her power of love into his own magic power. Without further ado, Ruslan sets out on a chase after the stolen princess to overcome all obstacles and to prove that real love is stronger than magic.
