June 7, 2017 the relevant committee recommended MPs to adopt the bill ‘On amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine on State Support of Cinematography in Ukraine”.
The bill amends the Tax Code to change approaches to state funding in the cinematographic industry and create effective mechanisms to attract private funds in the industry.
Upon consideration of the bill MPs made suggestions and recommendations for its improvement to the second reading.
As noted earlier Ukrainian parliament has finally adopted the long-awaited law ‘On the State Support of the Cinematography in Ukraine’
