The premiere of Two Lives, a 12-episode criminal melodrama (the rights were acquired by WTW Films Limited from FILM.UA), was shown on Ukraina TV channel on March 27- 31, 2017. It was watched by more than 2 million viewers above 4 years of age in Ukraine!
The average viewing share and rating for the series amounted to the following: 9.90% and 3.02% respectively for 18-54 (50+) audience , 9.82% and 3.24% for 18-54 (Ukraine) – 12.82% and 4.83% for 18+ (Ukraine).
The series tells the story of the daughter of an oligarch who gets revenge on her father by helping the police put him in jail. Realizing that her father will never forgive her, she asks to be entered into a witness protection program. However, she arrives in a backwater town, with no money, a new passport, a new appearance, and all her habits from her old life of luxury, only to discover that the program doesn’t exist. She finds herself caught up in the middle of a dangerous and ambitious scheme, of which her father is clearly not the author.
