The filming of the new 4-episode melodrama series has started in Kyiv.
Volodymyr Melnichenko, the director of the film, told about the project: “Why the name of the film is ‘Mother Hen’? This is how people call mother, that patronizes and protects her family. We have complicated, but fascinating story to tell, and I believe that we will create a great film”.
The premiere of the film will take place on ‘Ukraine’ TV channel later this year.
Synopsis. Nadya Kosenkova is a teacher in a private elementary school. She is really into her work and children, so she got a nickname Mother Hen. She dreams about her own baby, but her husband, a director of this school, didn’t plan it. And even more – it turns out that he is cheating on Nadya. When she founds it out, she resigns from the school, losing family and work at the same time. Trying to help one of her pupils, Nadya finds a new job…
