In particular, an agreement was signed in Japan with A.K. Company, another in Czech Republic with Prima, and yet another in Spain with Mediaset.
Just a reminder: the first country for the project’s international distribution was Poland. Love in Chains was broadcast on TVP1, the main TV channel in the country, and set several records gathering a multi-million audience of viewers and fans.
Before, the rights to the series were sold to Russian Federation for broadcasting on Rossiya 1, as well as to Lithuania (LNK) and Kazakhstan (Channel 7). Both seasons are available on Amazon Prime, one of the biggest online platforms. The first 24 episodes were published there in September 2019 and enjoyed immediate interest from the audience, winning a lot of fans and positive feedback. And the second season of the series is already available on the platform in TVOD and EST formats.
“We are very happy to share this news with the market as it comes straight from MIPTV happening online for the first time ever. The successes of our Love in Chains series prove that no borders or quarantines exist for good stories and high-quality content. We wish all our colleagues to be successful at the market. And we’ll keep you posted,” says Evgeniy Drachov, international sales manager.
The series enjoyed huge success on Ukrainian television, namely STB channel. The first season was broadcast in spring and the second, in autumn of the previous year. Now the preparation for filming the third season is ongoing. The premiere is planned for 2021.
